Since 1990, a monitoring system has recorded precipitation, temperature, snow cover, and sunlight. Over a long period of time, this allows inferences to be drawn about changes in the external conditions, which the area, its vegetation and animals are subject to. At the following national park monitoring stations, data is automatically transmitted to the Internet from 4 am to 4 pm via GPRS modem.
